success ofHolyConvocation.
President ElijahHankerson and staff
plannedmany outreach and evangelistic
events throughout theweek. The IDOE
actually got started before the convocation
even began. The departmentministered at
jails and prisons in theGreater St. Louis
area. Several serviceswere held reaching
hundreds ofmen andwomenwith the glori-
ous gospel of JesusChrist. Street Teams
were deployed tomany of the distressed
areas of the city to share the gospelwith
asmanymen, women, boys and girls as
possible. TheseStreet Teams also invited
thousands of residents to the services of the
ChurchOfGod InChrist. The department
continues to lead the evangelistic efforts for
the entire denomination.
