As a young boy,my
parents, by their own
admission, instilled in
me the importance
of being a dreamer.
Theywould often
askme,“What do
youwant to bewhen
you grow up?” I
would always respond,
“I want to be an
actor!”With a natural
ability for storytelling,
imitating and those
close tomewith
tion.”There is limitless power in
sayingwhat you see, until you see
what you said. However, I always
knew Iwas not limited to acting
exclusively.Along theway, I used
every tool I had inmy arsenal as
ammunition. I became an inspi-
rational speaker, a highly sought
after basketball coach and trainer,
an elder in theChurchOfGod In
Christ, awriter and even a con-
sultant. The ultimate dream has
alwaysbeen to live inLosAngeles
and pursuemy dreams on the
world’s largest platform. Iwas in
a pickle between success and sur-
vival. I needed them both from a
growth standpoint. If opportunity
and experiencewere in a vending
machine, Iwould paymy life sav-
ings for it.Why?Because there is
perfection, I found
massive pleasure in
entertainment. I am
convinced that dreams
don’t come true–they
are true.
Iwas eight years oldwhen I knew
Iwanted to actmore than anything.
Twenty-three years later, I have
been featured in 3 national com-
mercials, 3 featurefilms and over
8national showson theNBC,ABC,
andCBS networks. I saw it inmy
mind before I ever saw itwith
my eyes!Awiseman once said,
