Thursday, December 7, 2017, the saints
gathered at the Church of God in Christ
World Headquarters inMemphis, Ten-
nessee for a tour of the landmark facility,
library, and prayer room, and to learn of
its rich history. Dinner was then held in the
great Bishop’s Hall where Bishop Vincent
Mathews, Jr. set the tone, introducing
committeemembers and giving a few sur-
prise gifts! After dinner and icebreakers,
the leaders boarded a charter bus and
drove down to Lexington, Mississippi to
stay at the SaintsAcademy.
The SaintsAcademy was a vision as the
college was aglow under the campus
